Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose: 

  • As a Senior Analyst you will be the analytical engine driving growth for Colgate-Palmolive’s iconic global brands by transforming complex datasets into actionable business strategies
  • You will bridge the gap between technical data science and commercial execution, collaborating with global teams to build high-impact dashboards and automated intelligence solutions
  • Utilizing a modern tech stack - including Snowflake, DBT, GitHub, DOMO and Sigma you will ensure our leadership has the precise market and consumer insights needed to win in a rapidly evolving digital landscape

 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Develop Insight Solutions: Build and maintain Competition Intelligence solutions and standard business trackers that provide a clear view of market performance and growth opportunities
  • Data Integration & Mapping: Synthesize diverse datasets including Marketing, Finance and Point of Sale (POS) to link business rationales with technical analytical solutions
  • Global Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Corporate, Regional and Local business teams to gather requirements and deliver high-impact, sustainable analytical solutions and actionable insights 
  • End-to-End Data Management: Oversee the full data lifecycle by validating data quality (sanity checks), resolving discrepancies and automating insights using GenAI 
  • Cloud Data Pipelines: Collaborate closely with Data Engineering teams to extract data from cloud environments and build robust, scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, DBT and GitHub

 


Required  Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Engineering/Sciences/Statistics , MBA  
  • Experience with third-party data i.e. syndicated market data (Nielsen, Kantar, IRI) Point of Sales, etc.
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience working in Data Insights / Analytics role 
  • Should have worked in a client facing / stakeholder management role to understand business needs and draw hypothesis
  • Knowledge of Data Transformation tools - SQL/Python, Snowflake, DBT, GitHub
  • Working knowledge of visualization tools Ex: Tableau, DOMO, Lookerstudio, Sigma  
  • Ability to Read , Analyze and Visualize data 
  • Effective Verbal & Written Communication for Business engagement
  • Excellent presentation/visualization skills

 


 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Created/worked on automated Insights solution 
  • Working knowledge of consumer packaged goods industry
  • Worked on Competition Intelligence solutions
  • Willingness and ability to experiment with new tools and techniques 
  • Good facilitation and project management skills
