Senior Analyst, Business DevelopmentOverviewThe Global Partnerships team is responsible for cultivating and managing Mastercard’s most strategic relationships with key players across the payments ecosystem. The team works with global leaders in technology, e-commerce and financial services to build and scale solutions across acceptance, issuing and co-brand partnerships, payments data services and emerging commerce capabilities.
Join an agile, high-performing team within Mastercard’s Global Acceptance vertical, focused on growing the Global Acquiring business with leading centralized global acquirers and commerce enablers.
These customers are central to Mastercard’s acceptance strategy and operate across multiple markets, channels and business models. The team works closely with regional stakeholders, product teams and customer partners to defend and grow revenue, deepen relationships and execute priority strategic initiatives.
Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, this Sr. Analyst role will sit at the intersection of data, strategy and business development. The role will help drive growth across the Global Commerce Enablers portfolio by turning customer and market data into actionable insights, building and managing the commercial opportunity pipeline, supporting priority client engagements, and developing scalable approaches to grow Mastercard’s broader portfolio of customers.
The role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise across acquiring, commerce platforms, global account management and emerging payments trends, while helping shape strategic initiatives across the wider Global Partnerships Acceptance vertical.
Role
Portfolio Insights & Growth Strategy
• Analyse customer, transaction, market, volume and revenue data to identify growth opportunities across the Global Commerce Enablers portfolio.
• Monitor customer and market trends to identify emerging platforms, business models and potential future strategic accounts.
• Support strategic planning and portfolio reviews with data-driven insights on performance, opportunity and priorities.
Pipeline Management & Commercial Execution
• Own and maintain the portfolio opportunity pipeline, providing visibility from opportunity identification through commercial development and execution.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to track pipeline value, revenue potential, customer penetration, product adoption and progress against strategic priorities
• Support the development of business cases, customer proposals, RFP responses, commercial models and investment decisions
• Help establish consistent processes and operating rhythms for pipeline management and portfolio performance.
Long-Tail Portfolio Growth
• Help develop a scalable engagement model for the broader portfolio of commerce enablers beyond Mastercard’s largest strategic accounts.
