Job description
We are seeking a Senior Auditor, Data Analytics to join our Global Internal Audit (GIA) team. This role will play a critical part in advancing our data analytics, data mining, and continuous auditing capabilities while supporting risk-based audit projects across multiple business areas and regions.
The successful candidate will work closely with audit teams, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and senior stakeholders to develop data-driven insights, enhance audit effectiveness, and support the ongoing evolution of GIA's analytics strategy.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Auditor, Data Analytics, you will:
- Lead the execution of audit analytics throughout all relevant phases of audit engagements.
- Partner with audit teams to obtain, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
- Support the continued enhancement of GIA's analytics capabilities, methodologies, and continuous auditing initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data automation solutions across audit projects.
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence to identify, develop, document, and deploy new audit analytics.
- Work closely with the Head of Analytics on strategic initiatives and key departmental projects.
- Serve as a regional analytics lead while providing support to global audit activities when required.
- Develop meaningful visualizations and reporting outputs to effectively communicate audit insights.
- Lead and deliver training on data analytics tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness through data, technology, automation, and emerging tools.
- Support broader Global Internal Audit initiatives as needed.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in data analytics, auditing, consulting, risk management, or a related analytical discipline.
- Strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, analysis, and visualization techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in tools and technologies such as:Tableau, SQL / MS-SQL, Python, Oracle / PL-SQL, GCP, Excel and/or Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working effectively in global, multicultural, and cross-functional environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Consulting.
- Exposure to agribusiness, commodities, manufacturing, or other complex multinational environments.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Business Intelligence platforms, RPA, or related technologies.
