We're looking for a Senior BI Developer to join our global BI team and work on our massive data processing pipelines, our Snowflake data warehouse, and the reporting layer the whole company runs on. You'll own work end to end — from the requirement, through the ETL and the data model, to the Tableau dashboard the game team opens every morning — as well as the AI layer we're building on top. Strong SQL and solid data modeling understanding are mandatory — they are the foundation of this role. AI tools are part of how we work and you'll use them daily, but they sit on top of your own judgment — you need to be able to write, read and correct the SQL and the model yourself. At this level we expect autonomy: little instruction on day-to-day work, requirements gathered directly from stakeholders, and you reviewing other people's work. You'll act as a technical anchor on complex, cross-team work.
· 4+ years of experience in a BI Development role · Excellent hands-on SQL — DDL, DML, window functions, query optimization · Proven experience building and optimizing ETL processes and data pipelines at scale
· Build and evaluate Snowflake Cortex Agents and Semantic Views — including measuring whether the answers are correct · Hold the verification bar for AI-assisted work, yours and other people's — you know how AI-generated SQL goes silently wrong · Monitor AI cost and enforce safe-data practice

Position Summary
Level: Senior BI Developer - (4-8 years)
About the role
What you'll do
Data & pipelines
· Own complex tickets and non-standard requests end to end, including new projects with other teams
· Pull data from various sources and integrate it into our ETL processes
· Design and own parts of our DWH and the data models across our pipeline layers
· Proactively identify pipeline and workload optimizations, propose the change, and lead it with others in the team
· Monitor the integrity and validity of the data, and raise red flags early
· Translate business requirements into technical specifications, and document new definitions, processes and BI work
Platform ownership
· Be an expert on Snowflake roles and privileges, and grant the right privilege to the right role in the hierarchy
· Administer Tableau Server
· Own our Airflow DAGs and orchestration patterns
· Take part in the on-call rotation, and build the monitoring that reduces how often it fires
Visualization, collaboration & leadership
· Design, develop and maintain reporting solutions in Tableau, and set the standard for how they're built
· Work closely with Product Analysts, Marketing, Data Scientists, Finance and the game teams to deliver insights
· Coach and mentor Core and Associate developers
Requirements
· 4+ years of experience in a BI Development role
· Excellent hands-on SQL — DDL, DML, window functions, query optimization
· Proven experience building and optimizing ETL processes and data pipelines at scale
· Proven experience with Tableau, including Tableau Server administration
· Hands-on Snowflake experience, including roles, privileges and warehouse cost
· Experience with a workflow orchestrator — Airflow or equivalent
· Experience working in production with an on-call rotation, and reviewing other developers' code
· Strong data modeling skills and clear judgment about data integrity
· Excellent communication skills in English, including with non-technical stakeholders
Working with AI — required
· Author and publish AI skills — reusable, versioned workflows so the whole team does a task the same correct way
· Design agent and subagent workflows that split large work into reliable steps with an independent verification step
· Build and evaluate Snowflake Cortex Agents and Semantic Views — including measuring whether the answers are correct
· Hold the verification bar for AI-assisted work, yours and other people's — you know how AI-generated SQL goes silently wrong
· Monitor AI cost and enforce safe-data practice
Nice to have
· Experience administering Tableau Server through TSM via the bash CLI
· A Snowflake certification — if you don't have one, we'll expect you to earn one within your first year
· A programming language — Python, Scala or Java
· Experience leading a project across multiple teams
· Experience in the gaming industry, or another high-volume consumer data environment
