Key Deliverables — What Success Looks Like
Deliver complete, unambiguous technical requirements with minimal engineering clarification.
Produce high-quality API specifications, integration documentation, and data mapping artifacts.
Ensure successful delivery of product features through effective stakeholder coordination and technical ownership.
Reduce requirement-related defects and rework through detailed analysis and validation.
Improve engineering productivity by providing technically accurate documentation and acceptance criteria.
About the Role:
Own the technical analysis, API integrations, product requirements, and data mapping for enterprise applications and AI-powered data platforms. Act as the bridge between Product, Engineering, AI/ML teams, and business stakeholders by translating business requirements into technically sound solutions while driving product ownership from concept to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for product features, APIs, and system integrations.
Own API contracts, data models, JSON/XML schemas, and end-to-end integration specifications.
Perform detailed data mapping across applications, databases, AI/ML pipelines, and third-party systems.
Collaborate with Engineering, AI/ML, Product, QA, and external stakeholders to define scalable technical solutions.
Prepare user stories, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and solution documentation.
Drive backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT, and release readiness with Engineering teams.
Analyze system behavior, APIs, logs, and production issues to support root cause analysis and solution design.
Maintain technical documentation, architecture decisions, workflows, and integration diagrams in Confluence.
Evaluate product improvements using data, customer feedback, and AI-assisted analysis to drive continuous enhancement.
First 90 Days — Objectives:
Day 30: Understand product architecture, system integrations, APIs, and business workflows.
Document core product modules, APIs, and integration requirements.
Day 60: Independently own feature analysis, API specifications, and data mapping for new initiatives.
Lead backlog refinement, solution discussions, and UAT planning with cross-functional teams.
Day 90: Own end-to-end technical analysis for assigned product areas.
Drive successful feature delivery from requirements through production release while improving product documentation and stakeholder alignment.
Required Skills & Experience:
4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Integration Analyst, System Analyst, or Product Analyst.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, OpenAPI/Swagger, and system integration patterns.
Experience with API integration, data mapping, database design, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Ability to understand application architecture, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, UML, BPMN, sequence diagrams, and workflow modeling.
Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read application logs, understand API responses, and participate in production issue analysis.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, release management, and UAT.
Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or AI-powered products.
Knowledge of Python, Postman, Swagger, GraphQL, or API testing tools.
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, event-driven architectures, or ETL/data pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and enterprise SaaS applications.
Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Gemini) for requirements analysis, documentation, data mapping, and product discovery.
