  • Monitor database health, performance, and availability by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in complex production environments while ensuring business continuity requirements are met. 
  • Perform regular health checks and vulnerability assessments while performing proactive capacity planning and database optimization activities. 
  • Ensure database security standards and best practices are implemented and maintained. 
  • Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and platform refreshes. 
  • Diagnose and resolve critical production incidents within agreed SLAs. 
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Python, PL/SQL, or similar technologies.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
