Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Data Engineer to join our team. We value ambition, intelligence, and the ability to learn quickly over specific experience in our stack. Core Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data pipelines and integrations from internal and external data sources and other technologies as needed.
- Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT processes supporting operational and analytical workloads.
- Develop and maintain data warehouse, data lake, and cloud-based data solutions.
- Create efficient data models to support business intelligence, self-service analytics, and predictive modeling.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, governance, and security through established best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and technical direction of the software products.
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience in data engineering, software engineering, analytics engineering, or related technical roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale data warehouses and data lakes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
