Job Description

To support our growth, we are recruiting Senior Consultants specializing in Data Engineering solutions. You will lead client engagements, co-design data engineering solutions through close collaboration with clients, manage stakeholders, and ensure impactful project delivery from strategy through execution. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Google Cloud (GCP): Hands-on experience with Google Cloud computing, data, and AI/ML services, including cloud architecture, compute and storage, IAM, cost optimization, and Infrastructure as Code. Experience applying GCP to data engineering and/or machine learning workloads is required.
  • Data Architecture & Pipeline Design: Building robust, scalable data pipelines and architectures to enable efficient ingestion, processing, and delivery of large volumes of structured and unstructured data. 

  • Cloud & Distributed Systems: Designing and implementing data solutions leveraging modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Kafka). 

  • Database Design & Data Modeling: Developing logical and physical data models and optimizing database solutions for various data types and workloads, including relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph databases. 

  • Data Integration & Loading Patterns: Implementing best practices for batch, streaming, and real-time data integration, adapting to structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources. 

  • CI/CD & DataOps Practices: Enabling continuous integration and deployment of data services and infrastructure, using modern DevOps tooling to ensure reliability, versioning, and automation in data workflows.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and facilitate professional development. 

Qualifications

  • Completed WO Master's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, (Energy) Engineering, or a related technical field involving substantial programming. 

  • The specific stack that you will work with will depend on the client but, as an indication, we commonly work with Databricks, Snowflake and Azure. 

  • 3-6 years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent academic research). 

  • Strong analytical mindset with systematic problem-solving abilities. 

  • You have a strong interest in data and AI-related topics, the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas, and you’re excited about helping our clients seize the opportunities they offer.

  • A fast learner who demonstrates strong communication skills, adaptability, and entrepreneurial drive. 

  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and presentation abilities. Dutch or French fluency is a must. 

  • Proven interest in Data Engineering, and relevant sectors such as Energy and Finance.
