Job Overview

Arm is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support a portfolio of in-flight Commercial data, automation and reporting initiatives.

You will build and maintain reliable datasets, pipelines and integrations that connect operational data across Arm’s systems and make it usable for automation, analytics, reporting and decision making.

This is a hands-on fixed-term role with a strong delivery focus. You will take ownership of existing technical work, work with process owners and technical teams to resolve outstanding issues, and help move solutions from development through to reliable operational use.

You will work across a varied set of Commercial initiatives, with opportunities to support data products, process intelligence, automation and AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain data pipelines and curated datasets using Python, SQL and modern data-engineering platforms.

  • Pick up and progress existing data-engineering work, troubleshooting issues and helping solutions move through testing, deployment and handover.

  • Integrate data from enterprise systems, APIs and other sources to support automation, reporting and analytical use cases.

  • Translate business and process requirements into appropriate data models, transformations, metrics and reusable data products.

  • Work with business process owners, developers, Enterprise IT and Data teams to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.

  • Apply data quality, lineage, testing, monitoring, security and governance practices so outputs are trusted and maintainable.

  • Support reporting, process-intelligence and automation solutions by ensuring the underlying data is accurate, accessible and reliable.

  • Manage competing priorities and dependencies across multiple in-flight initiatives, maintaining clear technical documentation and supporting effective handover.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or a comparable technical role.

  • Experience building data pipelines, transformations and reusable datasets using Python, SQL and modern data platforms.

  • Good understanding of data modelling, data quality, testing, metadata, lineage and production release.

  • Experience integrating data across APIs, databases and enterprise applications.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand existing technical solutions quickly and work independently to move them forward.

  • Experience translating business or process requirements into technical solutions and working across technical and non-technical teams.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Databricks, Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake or comparable technologies.

  • Experience with Celonis, process mining or process intelligence.

  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP or ServiceNow.

  • Exposure to AI-enabled applications, workflow automation or data products supporting LLM-based solutions.

  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, observability or visualisation tools such as Databricks SQL, Tableau or Power BI.

In Return

You will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on a portfolio of high-priority Commercial initiatives, helping move existing solutions through to successful operational use.

You will work across data engineering, automation, process intelligence and reporting, collaborating with teams across Commercial, Enterprise IT and Data. The role offers exposure to modern data platforms and emerging AI use cases, while remaining firmly focused on practical technical delivery and measurable business outcomes.
