What We’re Looking For

7+ years of overall data engineering experience, including at least 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience with Snowflake and associated data engineering technologies.
Experience delivering data engineering solutions within banking, financial services or other highly regulated environments.
Practical experience with Snowflake Tasks, Streams, Snowpipe Streaming, dbt, Iceberg tables and cloud-based data platforms.
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data pipelines, transformations and curated datasets.
In-depth understanding of data quality, reconciliation, monitoring, performance and operational supportability within production data environments.
A structured approach to technical documentation, including producing clear runbooks and technical artefacts that enable sustainable operations and effective knowledge transfer.

Bonus Points For

Experience providing services across enterprise-scale unified data platforms and complex source-system landscapes.
Familiarity with data governance principles, including data ownership, classification, metadata, lineage and access controls.
Experience supporting production deployment, stabilization and performance-tuning activities.
Experience collaborating with architecture, governance and cross-functional engineering teams on large transformation programmes.
