Strong AWS cloud engineering experience.
Strong Terraform experience, including applying infrastructure-as-code practices to data platform resources and access controls.
Strong experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD and controlled deployments across multiple environments.
Strong understanding of RBAC, IAM, PII protection, masking and data governance.
Experience with production monitoring, observability, performance improvement, recovery and operational reliability.
Experience with OpenTelemetry or similar observability frameworks for standardized metrics, logs and distributed tracing across data pipelines and platform services.
Strong Python or comparable programming skills, with experience in modern batch, streaming, CDC and orchestration patterns.
Demonstrated technical leadership, including establishing engineering standards, reviewing designs and code, and mentoring engineers.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as a senior, hands-on contributor.
