Job description
AFS is seeking an Information Data Scientist in Honolulu, HI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development and refinement of IE‑focused analytics products.
- Integrate structured and unstructured data streams into analytic workflows.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative IE analysis to support ongoing operations and exercises.
- Provide onsite SME support during command exercises (FPC, execution phases).
Here's what you need:
- 5+ years of experience working with data analytics, open-source intelligence analytics, strategic communications
- 2+ years experience supporting GOFO or senior leadership, including executive briefings and report writing
- Strong intelligence analytical background with experience writing intelligence reporting
- Demonstrated experience working on Indo-Pacific national security issues or relevant Asia regional subject matter expertise
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working at a US Military functional or geographic command
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active Secret clearance and be eligible for a TS
- Active TS preferred
