Senior Manager, Finance Analytics & Insights

Job Description:

The Senior Manager, Finance Analytics & Insights will be based in Hyderabad, India. In this position, you will report to the MEIAT Controller. The Senior Manager, Finance Analytics & Insights is a strategic leader within the Global Controllership organization responsible for building and managing the finance reporting, analytics, and business intelligence ecosystem. This role partners closely with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Internal Audit, and Finance Systems to transform financial data into actionable insights that support executive decision-making, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. This individual serves as the organization's Power BI expert and leads the design, development, and governance of enterprise financial dashboards, KPI reporting, and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering and data architecture expertise with an understanding of finance and accounting processes to deliver scalable, automated reporting capabilities across the global finance organization.

Finance Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Serve as the accounting organization's subject matter expert for Power BI and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain executive dashboards supporting the Corporate Controller, CFO, Finance Leadership Team, and Audit Committee.
• Build interactive dashboards covering:
  • S2P | Supply Chain/Procurement and AP
  • Close metrics
  • Account reconciliations
  • SOX compliance
  • Intercompany
  • Revenue

• Develop self-service reporting capabilities that enable Finance leaders to access timely and reliable operational and financial insights.

Data Engineering & Financial Data Architecture

• Design and maintain scalable financial data models supporting enterprise reporting.
• Build optimized semantic models within Power BI.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading from ERP and finance applications.
• Partner with Finance Systems and IT to establish standardized data pipelines.
• Improve data quality, consistency, and governance across financial systems.

Power BI Center of Excellence

• Establish governance, development standards, security models, and best practices for Power BI.
• Lead dashboard architecture, workspace administration, deployment pipelines, and lifecycle management.
• Optimize report performance and scalability.
• Develop reusable datasets and standardized financial reporting models.
• Mentor Finance users on Power BI capabilities and self-service analytics.

Financial Reporting Automation

• Eliminate manual reporting through automation.
• Develop automated KPI reporting supporting:
  • Monthly close
  • Quarterly reporting
  • SEC reporting
  • Audit Committee reporting
  • Executive operating reviews
  • SOX monitoring
• Integrate reporting across Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, BlackLine, Coupa, and other enterprise applications.

Advanced Analytics

• Develop predictive analytics supporting:
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Revenue trends
  • Close cycle performance
  • Working capital
  • AP and AR analytics
  • Journal entry monitoring
  • Financial risk indicators
• Utilize DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, Python, and AI-enabled analytics to enhance financial decision-making.
• Explore machine learning and AI opportunities to improve financial forecasting and anomaly detection.

Executive Reporting

Develop executive dashboards for:

• Corporate Controller
• CFO
• Finance Leadership Team
• Executive Leadership Team
• Audit Committee
• Board of Directors

Create standardized reporting packages for:

• Close performance
• Financial KPIs
• SOX compliance
• Audit metrics
• ERP implementation
• M&A integration

• Global accounting operations

Finance Transformation

Partner with Finance leadership to:

• Modernize financial reporting
• Digitize accounting operations

Here is some of what you will need (required):

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or a related technical discipline.
• (12-15) years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or financial systems.
• Expert-level Power BI development experience.
• Advanced expertise in:
  • DAX
  • Power Query (M)
  • Data modeling
  • Semantic models
  • Row-Level Security (RLS)
  • Power BI Service administration
  • Deployment Pipelines
  • Performance optimization
• Strong SQL development skills.
• Experience integrating multiple enterprise systems into reporting solutions.

• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting processes.
• Experience working within Finance organizations supporting Accounting and Controllership.
• Flexible to work in US time zone.
