Job Description
- Perform comprehensive manual testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Validate revenue calculations, financial formulas, and data accuracy with high precision
- Investigate discrepancies in financial data and determine root causes
- Analyze application behavior, database records, and API responses
- Execute full regression testing for production releases
- Verify bug fixes and provide timely feedback to engineering teams
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers throughout the development lifecycle
- Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports
- Work independently to drive quality throughout the sprint
- Identify potential risks and contribute to QA process improvements
- Support future test automation initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Manual Quality Assurance
- Solid experience with SQL for database validation
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience validating complex business logic, calculations, or financial data
- Ability to investigate issues beyond standard test execution
- Understanding of expected versus incorrect system behavior
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to software quality
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
WILL BE A PLUS
- Experience with test automation using Playwright
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as PostHog, Sentry, and Datadog
- Experience working with financial or accounting systems
