You'll work at the intersection of big data, cloud-scale distributed systems, networking, and AI, helping shape the future of autonomous network operations.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and operate large-scale data pipelines that ingest and process network telemetry at cloud scale.
Develop routing intelligence capabilities to detect, troubleshoot, predict, and mitigate network issues in multi-tenant data center environments.
Build scalable, highly available services on the Mist platform, contributing across the stack from data ingestion through analytics.
Design and develop software for cloud-native distributed systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to build AI-powered networking solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications and processing large-scale data.
Experience with distributed streaming and data processing technologies such as Kafka, Apache Storm, or Apache Flink.
Experience with distributed databases such as Cassandra, ArangoDB, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies.
Strong object-oriented programming skills in C++, Java, or another modern object-oriented programming language.
Experience working in a polyglot programming environment, with proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, C++, or similar technologies.
Experience building highly scalable distributed systems or cloud services.
Recent experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in day-to-day software development.
