(Sr) BG Digital Data Engineer

## Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader We pioneer technology for mobility experience that matter to people. ## Your mission, roles and responsibilities ## Your profile and competencies to succeed ### Essential responsibilities and duties The BG digital data Engineer is part of the BG operation team, working on digital data operating system and roadmap implementation from BG level and guiding the plant DT team to deploy the digital data projects to improve the shopfloor operation efficiency. The main missions of the role are: * Design, build, and maintain low-latency, resilient data synchronization pipelines connecting shop-floor execution ,enterprise planning and inventory movement to an enterprise data operating system * Define standardized manufacturing data schemas, component-level traceability models, and digital twins across all five global facilities to harmonize disparate local site configurations. * Oversee the machine connection between different equipment with MES system and data integration between MES and ERP platform to streamline workflows * Lead the adoption of digital tools such as AI-driven process optimization, machine vision for defect detection and IoT enabled equipment monitoring, starting as the pilot project and rollout them to all the plants. * Hold the training for the key users of the plant team to push the standard digital tools (e.g. Qlik, Palantir) deployment * Develop automated data models to analyze station-level Cycle Time (CT), Takt Time, Micro-Stoppages, and OEE. Pinpoint bottlenecks across SMT and final assembly lines * Represent BG to collaborate with group data team for the strategy and roadmap deployment and rollout * Working as the PMO to support the plant DT team to manage the digital data project and monitoring the progress Work with suppliers and customers to digitize the whole process from raw material to finish goods delivery for the traceability Qualifications The ideal candidate will have/be : Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, automation,Computer Science or Business. Experience: * Experience: 5–8 years of progressive experience in industrial data architecture, manufacturing analytics, or digital transformation within electronics manufacturing * Proven experience in a supervisor role for leading the team to deploy the digtal projects. * Rich experience for the AI application deployment for manufacturing industry * Project management experience for cross functional team and internal and external vendor management Skills and competencies: * Hands-on knowledge of data visualization and analytic, such as python, power BI, palantir and Qlik * Experience workign with manufacturing system, MES, ERP, AGV or industrial 4.0 platform * Experience for designing porject with AI agent applciaiton for data application * English fluent for cross-region and team communication * Facilitate digital workshop, communication and the sharing of the digital best practice among regions and plants * Excellent communication skills and capability to guide tream from different regions ## What we can do for you * At Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies. * We are the seventh-largest global automotive supplier, employing more than 157,000 people in more than 40 countries which makes a lot of opportunity for career development. * We welcome energetic and agile people who can thrive in a fast-changing environment.
