POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Site Support Analyst I to serve as the primary IT partner for our Taiwan operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of local IT services and infrastructure, while collaborating closely with global IT teams. You will play a critical role in supporting business operations, driving technology improvements, implementing corporate initiatives, and delivering an exceptional end-user experience.

This position offers broad exposure to end-user computing, enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, security systems, and regional IT operations within a global organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

End User & Operational Support

• Provide day-to-day IT support for end users across Taiwan offices.
• Diagnoses and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application issues.
• Support corporate mobile devices, collaboration tools, and productivity platforms.
• Deliver end-user training and guidance to promote efficient use of IT services.
• Evaluate and implement technology solutions to address business requirements.

Infrastructure & Systems Support

• Maintain and support IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Administer and troubleshoot:
  • Windows Server environments
  • Active Directory and Microsoft 365
  • Virtualization platforms (VMware vCenter)
  • LAN, Wireless LAN, and WAN networks
  • Cisco networking equipment
  • Cloud services including Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Perform server maintenance activities, including scheduled patching during maintenance windows.
• Support business-critical systems, including:
  • Meeting room AV solutions
  • Access control systems
  • CCTV systems
  • PABX / telephony systems
  • Printing services

 

Regional & Global Collaboration

• Partner with Corporate IT teams and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with global standards.
• Provide remote and regional IT support across multiple countries in Asia as required.
• Participate in global IT projects and technology rollouts.
• Implement enterprise solutions and corporate initiatives within Taiwan sites.

 

Governance & IT Administration

• Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures.
• Manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to maintain service quality.
• Support ITSM processes, including incident, change, and request management.
• Assist with ISO 9001 audits and compliance activities.
• Manage local IT purchasing, vendor contracts, and telecommunications/ISP services.

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Location: Taipei
• Environment: Primarily on-site with occasional travel requirements.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Microsoft 365 Enterprise
  • Windows operating systems and Windows Server
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, wireless networking, and WAN technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing or planning site-level IT infrastructure solutions.
• Knowledge of Linux administration.
• Exposure cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience supporting enterprise security and facility-related systems.

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of IT operations or infrastructure support experience within a multinational or complex enterprise environment.
• Good in English writing/oral
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Active Directory
  • VMware vCenter
  • Microsoft 365 Enterprise
• Cisco networking technologies
• Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and end-user support services.
• ISO 9001 audit or compliance experience is preferred.

 

 

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent IT service management certification
