WorldWide Electric is a national distributor of electric motors, motor controls and gearing both in private labeled lines and manufacturer's brand labels, some of which are well known throughout the world. We are seeking a highly motivated high potential Supply Chain Analyst (SC Analyst) for our Rochester, NY location.
Summary:Working closely with Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, and Operations, the SC Analyst will be a key team member in ensuring the WWE Supply Chain runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. This role will have primary responsibility for a supply chain (SC) function (transportation, warehousing, inventory management) and work with the rest of the SC team as needed to address issues as they arise. Leveraging strong productivity solutions skills (e.g., MS Excel, Business Intelligence solutions, and the company ERP) the SC admin will prepare reports, update status and tracking, process inventory status, update orders, and other tasks as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Inventory control and reporting
- Provide support and guidance to the warehouse teams
- Support and maintenance of inventory systems
- Provide support to the Sales Team, Customer Service and Logistics Operations with day-to-day issues
- Resolution of freight carrier discrepancies and charges
- Provide support / backup to the Supply Chain Manager and Management Team
- Provide support / backup to the Purchasing Planner for domestic and export orders and shipments
- Assist in generating business KPIs
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong Communication Skills - Verbal and Written
- Data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel, or similar tools
- Strong sense of personal integrity and commitment
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of generic Supply Chain Management systems and forms
- Competent in spoken and written English
- Good mathematical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to successfully communicate and work with cross-functional teams
- Action-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and adapt
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Willingness to "roll up sleeves" daily to be involved in getting the work done is a requirement
- 1-2 years Supply Chain/Logistics experience preferred
