## Job Title: Associate QA Engineer ### Experience: 2–3 Years ### Job Summary: We are seeking an Associate QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in data validation and reporting testing. The candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, Advanced Excel, and T-SQL to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across BI reports and dashboards. Exposure to MicroStrategy (MSTR) and automation tools will be an added advantage. * * * ### Key Responsibilities: * Perform testing and validation of Power BI reports and dashboards * Write and execute T-SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity * Use Advanced Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and comparison * Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios * Identify, log, and track defects using standard QA processes * Collaborate with developers and business teams to resolve issues * Ensure data consistency across multiple data sources and reports * Support UAT and regression testing * Participate in test automation initiatives where applicable * * * ### Required Skills: * Hands-on experience with Power BI * Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel * Proficiency in T-SQL / SQL Server * Understanding of QA methodologies (STLC, SDLC) * Experience in functional and data testing * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * * * ### Nice to Have: * Experience with MicroStrategy (MSTR) * Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Selenium, RPA tools) * * * ### Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field * * * ### Preferred Skills: * Good communication and teamwork abilities * Attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
