  • Family comes first: If your child falls ill, you get up to 15 days of leave per year with full pay.
  • Choose between modern Apple or Dell equipment.
  • We subsidize your "Deutschlandticket" (Germany-wide transit pass) to make your commute easier.
  • We support your health and well-being through Wellpass, our work-life portal, and various other sports and wellness offers.
  • Plan for the future with peace of mind thanks to our company pension scheme.
  • After your probationary period, you can lease your dream car via FINN or your dream bike via JobRad.
  • An office where you’ll feel right at home: modern, well-connected, and dog-friendly-you’re welcome to bring your four-legged friend along.

What you do

We optimise and market a growing portfolio of flexible assets on European power markets - battery storage, aggregated EV fleets and renewable generation. Our multi-market optimisation and execution is purely algorithm-driven and fully automated. What decides whether we make money is the quality of the inputs our algorithms run on: forecasts of prices, market fundamentals and renewable generation - from long-term views down to intraday and real time.

  • You own the complete forecasting stack our short-term algorithmic trading desk relies on: prices (day-ahead, intraday, imbalance and ancillary services such as FCR and aFRR), fundamentals (load, residual load, cross-border flows, outages, fuel and CO₂) and renewable generation (wind and PV) and you keep short-term and long-term views consistent
  • You deliver these forecasts as production-grade, probabilistic inputs (point forecasts, quantiles and scenarios) directly into our optimisation and bidding algorithms, and own their accuracy, timeliness and availability
  • You develop and implement analytical, statistical and fundamental models to assess European power and renewable markets and deliver data-driven insights and signals for our trading decisions
  • You assess market trends and new markets quantitatively, providing the basis for country and product decisions
  • You lead a team of 5-7 analysts & data scientist, develop them technically and coach them in their personal growth
  • You work closely with Trading Desk, Portfolio Management & Pricing, Sales and Product, building the bridge to develop cutting edge products and services
  • You create reports, monitorings and benchmarks to derive actionable insights for trading, senior management and other stakeholders
  • Your models feed into bids and prices largely automatically, and into the decisions of the management board

Who you are

  • Several years of experience in quantitative analysis on European power markets — price, fundamental and renewable generation forecasting as well as fundamental modelling.
  • A solid understanding of day-ahead, intraday and ancillary services, capacity and local flexibility markets, and of how prices form in them
  • Experience in technical leadership — or a clearly visible step towards it — with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • The ability to translate quantitative findings so that the management board and stakeholders can make decisions based on them
  • business-fluent English and German is a plus

Are you a good fit for us?

Diversity enriches our team and makes us stronger. Regardless of origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, or any disability – everyone is welcome here! We look forward to receiving your application and achieving great things together.
