Competitive salary
We’re looking for a Technical Services Analyst to join our team based in London.
HCA Healthcare UK’s Information Technology Group (ITG) develops and manages all aspects of healthcare IT across our hospitals, clinics, outpatient centres, laboratories, and associated businesses. Within this, Technical Services Delivery plays a vital role in installing, maintaining, and supporting end-user devices across all sites, ensuring our colleagues have the reliable technology they need to deliver outstanding patient care.
As a Technical Services Analyst, you’ll provide 2nd line technical support across our estate, acting as a key escalation point for incidents while maintaining strong relationships with end users and third-party vendors. From diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues to coordinating timely responses and ensuring minimal disruption to services, your work will directly support clinicians and operational teams. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll work with modern technologies across mobile devices, networks, and Microsoft platforms—offering an excellent opportunity to develop your technical expertise in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. It’s this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Other’s may think this is just a role in IT, but to us, you’ll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.
What you’ll do:
Provide 2nd line support to end users, managing and resolving incident tickets
Coordinate timely responses to incidents, ensuring clear updates and service restoration
Investigate root causes of technical issues and escalate where necessary
Support recovery activities following incident resolution
Document, certify, and close incidents in line with agreed procedures
What you’ll bring:
Extensive experience in 2nd line IT support with strong communication skills
Experience supporting mobile devices, PCs, laptops, tablets, and networking technologies (LAN/WLAN/WiFi)
Hands-on experience working with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Strong knowledge of iOS and Microsoft technologies, including Windows, O365, and Office Suite
Practical experience supporting Microsoft environments (e.g., Windows OS, MS Server, SQL)
