&lt;li&gt;Develop and apply novel disease specific cell-based and in vivo pharmacological models to generate robust data package leading towards go/no go decisions&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Execute cell-based assays to assess intracellular signaling pathways, the biological activity of small molecules and biologics in disease relevant tissue specific cells&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Conduct proof of concept translational studies in primary tissues (fresh and fixed) to confirm target rationale, target engagement and biological response&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Qualifications:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;B.S./M.S. in cell biology, molecular biology, pharmacology or similar technical fields&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;3-5 years of experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical company (the title will be adjusted for the level of experience)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Extensive hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture including primary cells&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Experience in translational models, e.g., precision cut slices is a plus&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Execution focused, team oriented, and highly motivated&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Experience with the following techniques is highly preferred: Northern and Western blotting, RT-qPCR, RNA-seq, cloning, cell culture, immunohistochemistry&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
