As part of our Transport & Infrastructure business, we are looking for an Asset Data & Systems Officer to support asset management, system performance and data integrity.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Quality & Continuous Improvement Lead, you will maintain accurate, complete and contract-compliant asset data that supports operational service delivery and client reporting. You will also be a key point of contact for system support, data quality management and continuous improvement activities across the contract.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working with data, systems and stakeholders, and takes pride in improving processes and ensuring information is accurate, reliable and fit for purpose.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct daily asset data compliance and quality checks against contract specifications.
Maintain and update asset records to ensure accuracy, completeness and reliability.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, gaps and non-compliance issues.
Support validation of inspection, defect, maintenance and completion data.
Assist operational teams with system access, troubleshooting and user support.
Contribute to system enhancements, changes and rollout activities.
Provide practical guidance to users on system processes and asset data requirements.
Support audit readiness, reporting requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
Experience maintaining databases, records management systems or asset management platforms.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, validate and organise data from multiple stakeholders.
Experience supporting business systems, troubleshooting issues and assisting users.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
Experience with asset management, GIS or reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL or QGIS will be highly regarded.
A qualification or training in Asset Management or a related discipline is desirable.
A current C Class Driver Licence.
