An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Red Oak North site in Dublin for a Business Insights & Analytics Lead.

As the Business Insights & Analytics Lead, you will turn complex data into practical commercial insight and strategic direction across Oncology and Pharma & Vaccines Business Units. You will be as a trusted adviser to business leaders on forecasting, pricing and access, pipeline choices, launch readiness and resource allocation.

What you will do:

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:

Operational Forecasting and Planning Cycles

  • Partner with Oncology and Pharma & Vaccines teams to build and quality-assure forecast models each cycle, bringing a strong understanding of Irish market dynamics, patient flows, access assumptions and local market forecasting nuances.
  • Develop selected forecasting models for priority assets and transition ownership to the business as launch approaches, with clear assumptions, documentation and capability transfer.
  • Support progressive adoption of common forecasting standards, while helping local teams build capability.
  • Leverage relevant UK models where appropriate, adapting pricing, access, epidemiology and market assumptions for Ireland rather than recreating models unnecessarily.

Local and Regional Partnerships

  • Act as the local administrative contact for primary market research, coordinating activities in line with governance, GDPR and company standards.
  • Own effective working relationships with IQVIA; wholesalers and other local stakeholders who provide critical business insight data
  • Maintain regular connectivity with UK and Global Data, Digital & Analytics partners to share standards, reuse solutions and secure specialist support.
  • Remain embedded in and accountable to the Ireland organisation so that analytics are grounded in local business context and consistently translate into commercial value.

Strategic Advisory and Commercial Insight

  • Pricing, access and commercial scenarios: build robust multi-scenario models to support commercial strategic planning.
  • Develop commercially grounded models to support investment decisions and Go to Market design.
  • Clearly articulate assumptions, sensitivities, risks and recommendations so senior leaders can make timely, evidence-based decisions.

Long-Range Pipeline and Launch Road Mapping

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment across Medical, Market Access, Commercial, Finance and other partners on pipeline priorities and launch assumptions.
  • Contribute to Cross Functional Teams evaluating pipeline and early launch assets through a consistent framework covering unmet need, benefit versus standard of care, HTA and reimbursement probability, commercial potential and health-system readiness.
  • Create clear executive “swim lane” roadmaps that help inform LT prioritisation and understanding of portfolio evolution.

Matrix Leadership, Innovation and Capability Building

  • Drive adoption of modern analytics and forecasting tools.
  • Navigate local, regional and cross-functional dependencies to deliver commercial solutions.
  • Design and lead practical training, workshops and town halls that build analytics confidence, improve self-service capability and embed new ways of working

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in business, economics, science, STEM or data analytics
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Expertise in forecasting, scenario modelling, performance analytics and insight generation in a regulated sector. Strong planning and project-management discipline, with a focus on accuracy, compliance and delivery.
  • Strong data literacy across validation, governance, source reconciliation and constructive challenge.
  • Credible communicator and facilitator, able to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of the Irish healthcare environment, including HSE decision-making, pricing and reimbursement, HTA and IPHA considerations (preferred but not essential)
  • Hands-on experience with Irish pharmaceutical data sources and partners, including IQVIA, wholesaler and compounder data. (preferred but not essential)
