About the role

We file this job under Analyst, by the work the posting describes.

Analysts answer business questions with data. They pull numbers with SQL, build reports and dashboards, and explain what changed and why to the people making decisions.

Most postings ask for SQL, spreadsheets, a dashboard tool such as Tableau or Power BI, and clear writing.

Unlike a data scientist, an analyst mostly explains what happened rather than building models that predict what will.

  • Design and deliver dashboards and visualizations for technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Write clear documentation for internal stakeholders, regulators, and auditors.
  • Follow industry‑standard source control, code review, testing, and deployment practices.
  • Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools to accelerate development while ensuring accuracy.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend integration into Risk Technology applications.
  • Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data models supporting risk analytics.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across source systems to dashboards.
