The Opportunity

Data & Business Transformation

Help improve the data behind the way our business works. As we move from older systems to new global standards across the UK and Northern Europe, you'll support the work needed to make our data accurate, consistent and ready for the transition. Working with project teams and senior stakeholders, you'll help check data quality, identify issues, support shared data standards and track and communicate progress using Excel and AI tools. Alongside this, you'll support change management by helping develop and roll out toolkits, coordinate project activities and capture meeting notes and actions. You'll gain practical experience in data governance—how a business manages and maintains reliable data—as well as programme coordination and business transformation. If you enjoy working with data, investigating inconsistencies and helping people work through change, this could be a great fit.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who is:

·       Comfortable working with data, with the patience and attention to detail to spot errors and inconsistencies.

·       Curious about how reliable data and better systems can improve the way a business works.

·       A structured problem-solver who enjoys investigating issues and explaining findings clearly.

·       Excited about AI and keen to find smarter, faster ways of getting things done.

·       Excellent at engaging people and building trusted relationships.

·       Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Degree Disciplines

·       Economics

·       Business Analytics

·       Mathematics or Statistics

·       Data Science

·       Finance, a science subject or a related analytical discipline

·       Business or Management, particularly with an interest in data, systems or business change

Relevant Experience

Relevant experience could include working with spreadsheets, checking or organising data, researching a problem or coordinating a project. This could come from your degree, societies, part-time work or a previous placement.

Skills & Capabilities

·       Confidence using Excel to organise, check and analyse information.

·       An interest in using AI tools to summarise information and work more efficiently, with care when handling data and checking outputs.

·       An analytical approach and close attention to detail when checking data quality and investigating inconsistencies.

·       Stakeholder management and relationship building.

·       Clear written and presentation skills to share findings, project updates and guidance with colleagues.

·       Good planning and organisation skills to coordinate activities, capture actions and keep track of progress.

What You'll Gain

·       Hands-on experience in data quality, data governance and the transition to new systems and global standards.

·       Ownership of meaningful projects as a fully integrated member of the team.

·       Experience working with project teams and senior stakeholders on change management and programme coordination across the UK and Northern Europe.

·       Ongoing coaching and development from an experienced manager and team.
