About the role

We file this job under Data Leadership, by the work the posting describes.

Data leaders run data teams or design how a company's data fits together. Managers hire, set priorities and answer for whether the data work pays off; architects choose the systems and the shape of the data.

Expect years of hands-on data work, experience leading people or projects, and the ability to explain tradeoffs to executives.

Unlike a senior engineer or analyst, most of a data leader's week goes to people, planning and decisions rather than building.

At Mitek, the Future of Work is about flexibility and preference wherever and whenever we are working. Because we care about our candidates, employees and customers, we include an in-person meeting as part of our hiring process. It’s one of the ways we live our mission to “Protect What’s Real.”

At Mitek, we believe that teams are more resilient, effective, and innovative when they benefit from a wide range of ideas, lived experiences, and perspectives. The strength of our organization is deeply rooted in the people who power it. We know that a workforce reflecting the richness of our communities and customers helps us better serve their needs.

This manager will need to provide feedback to the team on their mistakes and how to work more effectively.

Mitek operates with a Virtual 1st approach; however, this position requires working onsite at our Amsterdam office five days per week because of the physical collection activities and secure handling of sensitive materials.
