Requirements
- Possess Active SECRET level Security Clearance.
Position Summary: The Data Scientist uses complex, large-scale data analysis to find business trends and problems in passport operations, then designs and builds the data models, databases and dashboards that address them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify business trends and operational problems through complex big-data analysis
- Interpret results from multiple data sources, using methods that range from data aggregation and statistical analysis to complex data mining
- Design, develop and implement high-value analytical solutions
- Prepare data, implement data models and develop the databases that support those solutions
- Build dashboards and present findings and recommendations to government stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- S. citizenship.
- Maintain an Active SECRET clearance.
- Minimum 3 years of data science or advanced analytics experience
- Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
- Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
