Database Intern

Skyworks' Database Internships are offered in our Technology & Manufacturing (TMG) business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities
- Streamline application and software processes, developing and maintaining software for various projects
- Benchmark various software to maximize efficiency and develop improvements
- Drive API development to support data structure, data access, data integration, data visualization, database design and implementation
- Document and report following the teams design practices
- Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues
Required Experience and Skills
- Currently pursuing BS, MS, PhD in Computer or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Competence using XML/HTML/C# Java or Python/C++
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity/understanding of IDEs, multithreading paradigms, shell scripting, algorithms and data-structures
- Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
