Executive - Business Analytics

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Strategy team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurugram. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Executive – Strategy, Analytics & Operations

The ideal candidate for this role will excel if they can keep calm in a high-pressure environment. The candidate should have some relevant experience to the role that highlights their capability to conduct all the administrative work, making sure the delegate & CEO’s operations run smoothly.

We will count on you to:

1. Calendar & Travel Management:

• Meticulous control, coordinate complex scheduling and extensive calendar management, assist by performing a variety of administrative tasks, coordinate meetings and flow of information to senior management, as assigned.

2. Meeting Coordination & Communication:

• Organize and schedule meetings, conferences, and events. Prepare meetings agendas, materials, and presentations as required.

• Responsible for strong effective communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, preparing effective presentations and interfacing with clients on behalf of the CEO.

3. Data Management & Reporting

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and hygiene across reports and systems

• Work with CRM data (Zoho CRM preferred) to track sales, pipeline, and deal metrics

• Automate recurring reports and reduce manual reporting effort wherever possible

• Act as a single point of contact for standard business and performance reporting

4. Operational Efficiency & Automation

• Support operational processes such as deal desk management, deal flow tracking, and pricing analytics

• Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and propose data-driven improvements

• Build scalable processes as the business grows

What you need to have:

• 1–4 years of experience in analytics, business analysis, operations, or data-driven roles

• Curious, execution-oriented, and comfortable working in ambiguous environments

• Willing to learn quickly and take ownership of data and reporting problems

• Strong communication skills — able to explain numbers to non-technical stakeholders

Must-Have Skills -

• Strong working knowledge of SQL

• Advanced proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivots, formulas; macros a plus)

• Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail

Nice-to-Have

• Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or tech-enabled business

• Exposure to automation tools, scripting, or AI-based productivity tools

• Understanding of SaaS business workflows (sales funnel, revenue ops, deal cycles)
