GLOBAL DATA & ANALYTICS OPERATIONS MANAGER

Amsterdam | Consumer Beauty | Permanent Contract

 

 

As Global Manager, Data & Analytics Operations, you will play a key role in turning Coty Consumer Beauty’s Data & Analytics strategy into scalable, reliable and business-ready solutions.

 

Reporting to the Global Senior Director, Data & Analytics, Consumer Beauty, within Strategic Business Operations, you will design, build and scale the data foundations, analytics products and reporting capabilities that enable faster, more confident decision-making across brands, categories and markets.

 

Working at the intersection of business, Insights, IT and Data & Technology, you will translate complex business requirements into intuitive and robust solutions, while strengthening data governance, automation and AI-enabled capabilities across the organization.

 

This role combines technical depth, operational excellence and business understanding, with a clear objective: make data easier to trust, access and use to drive business performance.

In this role, you will be responsible for turning Data & Analytics strategy into scalable capabilities and tangible business value:

 

• Translate the Consumer Beauty Data & Analytics roadmap into scalable data, reporting and analytics solutions across brands, categories and markets.
• Convert business needs into technical requirements, data models and solution designs, balancing immediate priorities with long-term scalability.
• Design and manage data architectures, pipelines, semantic models, datasets and analytics products, ensuring reliability and maintainability.
• Build and scale automated reporting, dashboards and decision-support solutions that provide teams with trusted and accessible information.
• Establish and strengthen data governance and quality standards, including KPI definitions, business rules, metadata, lineage and quality controls.
• Connect and harmonize internal and external data sources, including syndicated, consumer, retailer, eCommerce and business performance data.
• Partner with Insights, IT, Data Platform teams and external providers to deliver integrated, business-ready data solutions and resolve data quality issues.
• Enable advanced analytics, automation and AI use cases by building scalable data foundations and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement across the Data & Analytics ecosystem, promoting reusable capabilities, shared standards and consistent ways of working.

 

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

 

You are technically accomplished, solution-oriented and business-minded. You enjoy bringing structure to complex data environments and building solutions that make sophisticated information simple and useful for business users.

 

You combine strong technical rigor with pragmatic business judgment, and you are equally comfortable discussing architecture with technical teams and translating business needs into clear technical requirements.

 

• 6–8 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Architecture, Business Intelligence, Data Operations or a related discipline.
• Proven experience designing and operationalizing data models, pipelines, analytics products and automated reporting solutions.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience integrating and harmonizing internal and external data sources.
• Strong knowledge of modern cloud, data and BI environments, particularly Databricks, Microsoft Azure and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of Python, APIs and data integration, with the technical literacy to collaborate effectively with engineering and technology teams.
• Familiarity with AI and automation capabilities, including GenAI tools, prompt engineering and AI-agent use cases.
• Understanding of consumer and market data ecosystems, including syndicated retail, consumer panel, media and digital data.
• Experience managing and collaborating with external data, analytics or technology partners, such as NielsenIQ, Circana or specialist analytics providers.
• Experience within FMCG, Beauty or another data-rich consumer industry is a strong advantage.
