Global Liquidity Management (GLM) is part of the Global Treasury within the Finance organization and is responsible for managing the firm’s liquidity risk. A primary focus of GLM is to analyze, measure, and manage the firm’s liquidity position and risk profile to ensure that State Street and its international entities can meet all contractual and contingent financial obligations through normal market cycles as well as periods of stress. Through meaningful, timely, transparent, multidimensional and globally harmonized measures, GLM provides key stakeholders with the insight needed to understand the firm’s liquidity position, associated risks, and the factors that influence liquidity.

We are seeking a Manager (Officer), Collateral and Intraday Liquidity Management to support analytical, reporting, and optimization initiatives related to the firm's collateral inventory and intraday liquidity usage. This role partners closely with Liquidity Management, Cash Operations, and Portfolio Trading teams to deliver actionable insights and enhance reporting and analytics related to the firm’s collateral inventory and intraday liquidity usage.

What you will be responsible for:

As a Manager (Officer), Collateral and Intraday Liquidity Management, you will:

  • Analyze the firm's intraday liquidity usage, collateral positions, and settlement activity across key Financial Market Utilities (FMUs), providing insights that support risk monitoring, management reporting, and business decision-making.

  • Prepare and enhance reporting and analytics related to intraday liquidity and collateral usage, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate and actionable information to stakeholders.

  • Partner with Technology, Risk, and other Treasury teams to source and validate data, implement reporting enhancements, and support the development of new analytical capabilities.

  • Develop executive presentations, management information, and ad hoc analyses that provide transparency into the firm's liquidity position, collateral utilization, and key risk drivers.

  • Maintain documentation, controls, and governance processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of collateral and intraday liquidity reporting across the Global Liquidity Management function.

What we value

The following skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex liquidity, collateral, and financial data and translate findings into clear and actionable insights.

  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Treasury, Risk, Finance, Technology, and business teams to resolve issues and deliver reporting objectives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting procedures, controls, policies, and management reporting materials.

  • Experience preparing presentations, analyses, and supporting materials for senior management and governance committees.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and continuously improving processes and reporting outputs.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably in Treasury Liquidity Management, Liquidity Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Risk Management, or related discipline.

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field from a tier one institution or CA/CPA

  • Knowledge of liquidity risk management, intraday liquidity, collateral management, or related concepts is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience working with large datasets and performing financial analysis.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with stakeholders across Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Technology functions.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate, high-quality work within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement.
