Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - Data Comm (3rd Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $22.73 + $1 shift differential per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you’ll do: Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Machine Operator ll to join our team. This position is based at our Reno, Nevada location. Relocation is not provided, and candidates must live within 50-mile radius of the facility. * Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses * Troubleshoot various machinery problems * Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders * QC and document all parts run on machines * Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system * Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production * Keep work areas clean and safe ## Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience in a manufacturing environment * More than 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines\ * More than 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints * Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools. Physical Requirements: * Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift. * Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis * Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance. * Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure. ## Skills: Position Criteria: * Able to operate machinery and presses safely * Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings * Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material * Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers * Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision ## Additional Information: Working Conditions: * Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open * Fast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
