In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and executing audience strategies, connecting human insights to actionable data, and driving precision marketing efforts across paid, owned, and earned media channels.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in healthcare or pharma media, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for uncovering insights and translating them into strategic recommendations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, client stakeholders, and data partners to steward audiences from data providers into activation platforms, design tests, and analyze performance.

Role Responsibilities

Audience Strategy Development:

  • Create and execute audience strategies, including deriving insights, defining audience logic, and collaborating with internal teams to activate campaigns.
  • Leverage syndicated tools (e.g., MRI Simmons, GWI, Numerator) and proprietary platforms (e.g., WPP Open) to generate audience insights and targeting recommendations.
  • Translate human insights into actionable audience definitions, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and regulatory requirements.

Data Stewardship and Activation:

  • Manage the flow of data from providers into activation platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Design and oversee testing frameworks to evaluate audience performance, providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Monitor match rates and syndication processes to minimize data loss and maximize campaign effectiveness.

Client Collaboration and Communication:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for Johnson & Johnson, presenting insights and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, addressing their needs and providing proactive solutions.
  • Partner with planning, activation, and analytics teams to ensure seamless execution of data-driven strategies.

Process Improvement and Innovation:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and privacy regulations, bringing innovative ideas to the team.
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of data strategy service offerings, driving thought leadership and best practices.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field; OR equivalent professional work experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data strategy, media planning, or programmatic advertising, preferably within a healthcare or pharma environment.
  • Strong understanding of DSPs, Ad Serving, and Audience Activation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Curiosity and a passion for learning, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance considerations is a plus.
