About the role

We file this job under Data Leadership, by the work the posting describes.

Data leaders run data teams or design how a company's data fits together. Managers hire, set priorities and answer for whether the data work pays off; architects choose the systems and the shape of the data.

Expect years of hands-on data work, experience leading people or projects, and the ability to explain tradeoffs to executives.

Unlike a senior engineer or analyst, most of a data leader's week goes to people, planning and decisions rather than building.

• Translate business and risk-management needs into technology priorities, helping bridge GRC subject-matter expertise, application capabilities, data, reporting, and technology delivery.
• Operate as a hands-on leader, comfortable moving between strategic planning, people leadership, technical/application discussions, control execution, and senior stakeholder engagement.

Position Expectations
• This is an in-office leadership position with regular interaction across business, Risk, Technology, Audit, and other key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience leading employees, contractors, or blended delivery teams.
• Working knowledge of GRC platforms, regulatory content solutions, risk and control structures, data models, reporting, and application management.
