About the role
We file this job under Analyst, by the work the posting describes.
Analysts answer business questions with data. They pull numbers with SQL, build reports and dashboards, and explain what changed and why to the people making decisions.
Most postings ask for SQL, spreadsheets, a dashboard tool such as Tableau or Power BI, and clear writing.
Unlike a data scientist, an analyst mostly explains what happened rather than building models that predict what will.
As a Procurement Data Analyst at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. You will gain vast industry experience that will open doors for you, extend your skillset and expand your perspective. We will empower, support, and enable you to take real responsibility in your role so that you can take charge of your career progression with us. For us lasting trusted relationships are everything, both with our teams and our clients.
The Opportunity
In this role you will:
Data collect, validate, analyse and maintain project data from various sources
Data cleanse to standardise data output to ensure consistency and accuracy
Prepare visualisation and data dashboards to support project reporting and decision making
Analyse project data to identify trends, variances and areas for improvement
Create a weekly web analytics report to analyse site usage

Establish an automated reporting system to generate snapshot reports at client agreed periods
Work closely and collaborate with client teams to understand their data analytical and performance reporting requirements and deliverables.
We would love to hear from you if you:
