Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

At bragg, our Business Intelligence team is engineering a trusted, enterprise-wide data foundation so a single metric means the exact same thing across every department. In this high-impact role, you will take full ownership of the business semantic layer - defining the enterprise data catalog, conformed dimensions, and certified reporting marts that leadership relies on for mission-critical decisions. Your work directly drives bragg’s mission by eliminating data silos, establishing certified data contracts, and transforming raw transactional volume into high-confidence intelligence. You will act as the vital bridge between Commercial, Finance, Product, and Data Engineering, setting the standard for how data governance and reporting operate company-wide.

This is a hybrid role based at our Ljubljana office.

what you’ll do:

• Own the data catalog, metric definitions, and conformed dimensions, supported by easy-to-read data lineage and change governance.
• Define the certified reporting marts: what each mart answers, which registered metrics and dimensions it exposes, who may publish from it, and the data contract behind it: the definitions, grain and quality gates signed off with Commercial, Finance or Product.
• Lead discovery with senior stakeholders and write the user stories and requirements Data engineers build from, with testable acceptance criteria.
• Own the reporting roadmap and backlog in Jira and sign off everything before it is certified.
• Raise the bar: set the standards for requirements and definitions, review others' work against them, and coach teams to self-serve from certified sources and Tableau Pulse.

what you bring to the team:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Business/Data Analyst, Analytics Lead, or Data Product Owner with a proven track record of owning metric definitions or semantic layers at scale;
• Demonstrated success resolving complex reporting discrepancies across multi-functional departments and cementing single-source-of-truth definitions;
• Advanced SQL proficiency on modern cloud data warehouses (Google BigQuery preferred), deep hands-on expertise with Tableau Cloud (or similar) and data publishing governance;
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling principles, sufficient to partner with and challenge data engineers on schema architecture;
• Demonstrated ability to integrate Generative AI into the analytical workflow to speed up SQL drafting, story writing and automate routine documentation.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, business acumen, and fluent written and verbal English skills;
• High ownership mindset with the ability to lead governance without being a bureaucratic roadblock.

nice-to-haves:

• Direct experience in iGaming, online casino platforms, or high-volume transactional tech environments;
• Hands-on experience with modern data tools such as SQLMesh/dbt and OpenMetadata/Collibra;
• Experience leading formal data governance programs or semantic layer migrations from scratch.
