Senior Data Analyst - Product

About us

Traditional banking has never really given you control over your financial life. Satispay exists to change that: to empower people through finance.

That means making financial services easy and accessible for over 6.5M users. We started with payments, then benefits, investing, cards... and we’re not done. Not even close. We follow the same logic every time: find a real problem, solve it properly, then look for the next one.

The destination? To build the most loved financial platform in the world. If you own outcomes rather than tasks, stay close to what users need, and refuse to wait for someone else to fix what's broken — you'll find people here who work exactly in the same way. And together, you'll build something worth being proud of.

What you'll be doing

Here's what that looks like in practice:

  • Own the Domain’s Data - Define, maintain, and evolve the KPI framework for the domain across all pods (activation, adoption, usage, retention, monetisation, risk and cost signals), ensuring the team always has a reliable, shared view of how our products perform.

  • Turn Behaviour into Insight - Run deep dives on user behaviour across funnels and product journeys to identify drop-offs, usage patterns, and unmet needs, then translate them into clear, prioritised recommendations for Product.

  • Drive Experimentation - Partner with PMs and Designers to shape the experimentation roadmap by defining hypotheses, success and guardrail metrics, sample sizes, and test design, then run the readouts and make sure learnings feed back into the roadmap.

  • Support Product Decisions End to End - Size opportunities, build business cases, and measure post-launch impact on new features and releases, closing the loop between what we ship and the outcomes it delivers.

  • Build Monitoring & Self-Service Tools - Develop dashboards and reports (Hex, Looker, or similar) that give Product, Operations, and leadership real-time visibility on launches, performance, and anomalies, without needing to ask for a query.

  • Partner with Key Stakeholders - Work daily with Product, Design, Engineering, and Operations to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, up to the executive level.

  • Enhance Analytics Through AI-Powered Workflows - Design and implement AI-assisted workflows to automate recurring analyses, anomaly detection, and reporting, and to speed up ad-hoc exploration.

Who we're looking for

This role needs someone who is a product-minded analyst with a strong analytical mindset, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment, is detail-oriented, and is ready to take full ownership of a domain’s data.

  • Relevant Experience - 4+ years in product analytics, data analytics, or BI roles, ideally embedded in a product team within a consumer app, fintech, or payments environment, with hands-on experience in high-volume, high-frequency event data.

  • Product Analytics Expertise - Solid command of funnel, cohort, retention, and segmentation analysis, and of consumer lifecycle metrics (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Monetisation). Experience with Fintech-specific KPIs and sector dynamics is a strong plus.

  • Experimentation - Proven experience designing and analysing A/B tests: hypothesis definition, power and sample size, guardrail metrics, statistical significance, and clear readouts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Technical Proficiency - Strong command of SQL and Python for analysis. Experience with dbt, Git, and notebook-based analytics (e.g. Hex, Databricks, Jupyter) is a plus.

  • Data Visualisation - Experience with Hex, Looker, or similar tools to build clear, self-service dashboards and monitoring.

  • AI Fluency - Comfortable using AI tools day-to-day for analytics, automation, ad-hoc analyses, and executive summaries. Basic to mid-level proficiency with Claude and experience interacting with agents programmatically via APIs is a strong plus.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills - Comfortable with ambiguity, able to break down complex product questions into focused workstreams, taking end-to-end ownership of analytical projects from problem framing to recommendation.

  • Stakeholder Management & Communication - Able to work independently with cross-functional teams and to translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Don't worry if you don't tick every box. We believe in the power of different viewpoints and strengths. Your unique perspective is important as we build something special: if you're passionate and can make a difference, we truly encourage you to apply.
