About the role

We file this job under Data Engineer, by the work the posting describes.

Data engineers build and run the pipelines that copy data out of apps and outside services into a warehouse or lake, and fix them when a source changes or a load fails.

Expect SQL, Python, a cloud platform, a scheduler such as Airflow, and often tools for large data such as Spark or Kafka.

An analytics engineer works one step later, turning the raw data a data engineer lands into clean tables people can query.

Senior Data Engineer, Customer Data

AI & Data Workflows  |  Remote  |  Full-Time  |  EMEA

Who We Are: Front Office Transformation Experts

Bluprintx (BPX) is a global, AI-powered consultancy built to design and deliver the intelligent front office for CMO and CRO executives. We are private equity-backed and scaling fast, with 300 active customers across 10 countries and more than 1,750 implementations. We connect people, technology, and AI to turn fragmentation into performance, partnering with global leaders to modernize how marketing, CRM, content, AI & Data connect. At BPX, we hire operators and specialists who thrive at the intersection of commercial strategy and technical execution.

What We Do: Cutting Complexity Across the Front Office

We help the world's most ambitious companies, including Uber Eats, BNY, and Xerox, untangle the operational complexity that slows enterprise growth. As a Gold Adobe Solution Partner and Salesforce Summit Partner, we deliver strategy and implementation across the full front office. Our proprietary methodology builds sustainable enabled ecosystems that maximize ROI and accelerate speed to market. By embedding AI into commercial workflows, we help clients move faster and stay ahead.

The Role

BPX is hiring a Senior Data Engineer as we build out a dedicated Data capability alongside our Intelligent Marketing practice. You will build and run the pipelines, models and data products that feed enterprise front-office programmes, turning raw customer, product and interaction data into clean, trusted, activation-ready data. Snowflake is the core platform on our largest current programmes, connected to Twilio Segment, Braze and Amplitude, and you will also work on Databricks, BigQuery, Azure and AWS as client needs demand. This is a hands-on engineering role: you work to designs set with our data architects, write and review production code, and own the quality of what you ship. The data you build is what marketers use to segment, personalise and measure, so you will see your work turn into live customer experiences.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain ingestion pipelines from source systems, event streams and third-party platforms into the cloud data platform.
  • Develop and test transformation logic and data models, turning raw data into clean, documented, reusable customer and event datasets.
  • Prepare activation-ready data for CDPs and engagement platforms, including audience tables, traits and warehouse-native or zero-copy sync patterns.
  • Work with data architects to implement target-state designs, and raise practical issues early so the design holds up in production.
  • Build data quality checks, monitoring and alerting, and diagnose and fix pipeline and data issues quickly when they arise.
  • Re-test and update downstream flows when source systems or platform architecture change, so CDP, engagement and reporting keep working.
  • Apply security, access control and privacy standards in every build, including GDPR and consent data handling.
  • Use version control, CI/CD and code review as standard, and document pipelines so client teams can support them.
  • Contribute to BPX's Data capability through reusable pipelines, templates and engineering standards, and support scoping and effort estimates.

What you'll bring

  • Five or more years in data engineering, including building production pipelines on a cloud data platform.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake. SnowPro Core certification or above is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of at least one other platform, such as Databricks, BigQuery, Azure or AWS.
  • Expert SQL and strong Python, with sound data modelling skills.
  • Experience with modern data tooling such as dbt, Fivetran, Airflow or equivalent, and with Git and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience working with customer, marketing or event data, ideally feeding CDPs such as Twilio Segment or engagement platforms such as Braze. Exposure to product analytics tools such as Amplitude is a plus.
  • Practical grasp of data privacy, security and GDPR. Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is an advantage.
  • Consulting or agency background, or the ability to work directly with clients and explain technical work in plain terms.
  • Fluent English and the right to work in an EMEA country where BPX operates.

Why this role, why now

Our clients' front-office programmes now stand or fall on the data underneath them, and BPX is building a dedicated Data capability to own that layer. This role is one of its first engineering hires, working on enterprise programmes where data flows from the warehouse through the CDP to live, cross-channel engagement. If you want to see your pipelines turn directly into customer outcomes, and help set the engineering standards of a new capability rather than inherit them, this is that seat.
