We file this job under Analyst, by the work the posting describes.
Analysts answer business questions with data. They pull numbers with SQL, build reports and dashboards, and explain what changed and why to the people making decisions.
Most postings ask for SQL, spreadsheets, a dashboard tool such as Tableau or Power BI, and clear writing.
Unlike a data scientist, an analyst mostly explains what happened rather than building models that predict what will.

At Glovo, we are looking for a hands-on, analytical Finance Insights Sr. Analyst to join our Finance Performance department at our Barcelona headquarters, reporting directly to the Finance Insights Manager. Beyond recurring reporting, you will serve as the hands-on automation and AI champion for the team—building automated data pipelines, Looker models, and workflow automations that eliminate manual tasks and elevate business decision-making.
