Add your resume and we’ll mark which of these tools you already use, and point out anything in the posting that could rule you out.

  • Python

  • Azure
  • Kafka
  • MySQL
  • Oracle
  • PostgreSQL
  • SQL Server

Where the posting names them
Strongly preferred - Python and PySpark. An agent writes most of it, so you need to catch what gets wrong. For example, a transform that looks right but skews the join, a window function that silently drops rows, or a fix that passes tests and breaks the contract downstream. - Dimensional modeling and schema design judgment
- 8+ years building software, weighted toward backend and data engineering. - Expert SQL and deep experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL. We run SQL Server. You can read an execution plan, design indexes that hold up under load, and tell when a normalized model is the wrong choice. - Experience writing back into a system of recording. Transactional integrity, idempotency, and reconciliation.
- Streaming and event-driven ingestion (Kafka, CDC) - Azure - Electronics distribution, supply chain, or industrial B2B data
- ERP integration experience - Streaming and event-driven ingestion (Kafka, CDC) - Azure

Your next step

Complete your application on job-boards.greenhouse.io. The employer’s form will show what is required.

Applying through Greenhouse

  • No account needed: the form is one page, with an “Autofill my application” option that reads your resume.
  • Greenhouse doesn’t read resumes over 2.5 MB, or details placed in a header, footer, text box, table or second column. The file still attaches, but a recruiter has to type you in by hand.

About the role

We file this job under Data Engineer, by the work the posting describes.

Data engineers build and run the pipelines that copy data out of apps and outside services into a warehouse or lake, and fix them when a source changes or a load fails.

Expect SQL, Python, a cloud platform, a scheduler such as Airflow, and often tools for large data such as Spark or Kafka.

An analytics engineer works one step later, turning the raw data a data engineer lands into clean tables people can query.

Job Description

Fusion Worldwide is a global open market distributor of electronic components. When a supply chain breaks because of an allocation, a shortage, or a part-going end-of-life, we’re who the world’s largest manufacturers call. That business runs on knowing things: which companies are real and active, which parts substitute for which, who is likely to need what. Our traders make those calls in hours, using what platform shows them. We run a production data and intelligence platform on Palantir Foundry. We need an engineer who already knows Foundry to work with it. RMS is our system of recording, a custom internal ERP we build and maintain. Every order, quote, and transaction lives there. Foundry sits on top. It reads from RMS, enriches and models data, and writes operational results back.

What We Can Do For You

  • Offer support through a collaborative, open environment alongside seasoned professionals with decades of industry expertise.
  • Enable career growth through direct and focused mentorship.

What You Can Do For Us

Platform & Data

  • Work with the ontology, a large object model covering companies, parts, offers, and demand signals. That includes adding object types, properties, and relationships as the data needs them.
  • Work with ingestion from RMS and other internal and third-party APIs, along with the transforms, pipelines, and automations behind it.
  • Work with the quality gates, including data expectations that fail the build, freshness checks against declared SLAs, and tests that make silent decay visible.
  • Tune performance across query plans, index design, materialization strategy, and caching.

System of Record Write-backs

  • Work with the write-back path into RMS, our system of record. Scores, enrichment, resolved entities, andoperational flags get written back to RMS.
  • Handle idempotency, conflict handling, and reconciling the two sides when they disagree.

APIs, Applications & AI

  • Design the APIs that UIs in Web RMS use to pull Foundry data. You’ll work with the contracts and the versioning, and make sure the APIs are fast enough for a UI.
  • Build custom applications. Most surfaces are custom applications, and we don’t expect heavy use of Workshop.
  • Build AIP Logic functions and agent workflows that read the ontology and act on it, such as triaging inbound RFQs, picking out pricing signals, and flagging anomalies in offers

Who We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years hands-on Palantir Foundry in production, including ontology modeling, pipelines in Code Repositories or Pipeline Builder, AIP Logic, and shipping an application that people use.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
  • 8+ years building software, weighted toward backend and data engineering.
  • Expert SQL and deep experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL. We run SQL Server. You can read an execution plan, design indexes that hold up under load, and tell when a normalized model is the wrong choice.
  • Experience writing back into a system of recording. Transactional integrity, idempotency, and reconciliation.
  • API design. You’ve designed APIs for applications you don’t control, changed them without breaking those applications, and shaped them around what a UI needs.
  • End-to-end delivery. You can point to features you drove from idea through POC, build, iteration, and release, with product input rather than product supervision. We’ll ask what you cut from scope, what you shipped rough, and what you killed.
  • Caching and performance engineering. You’ve made slow things fast and can explain what you changed
  • Production LLM systems, including what comes after shipping, such as evaluation, guardrails, cost, and latency.
  • Day-to-day work with AI agents on production systems, with specifics on where they help and where they quietly fail.
  • Building systems other people can audit. Lineage that holds up, parameters stored as versioned data, and outputs a non-engineer can challenge.
  • Clear written communication. We run on documents; this role writes them.

Strongly preferred

  • Python and PySpark. An agent writes most of it, so you need to catch what gets wrong. For example, a transform that looks right but skews the join, a window function that silently drops rows, or a fix that passes tests and breaks the contract downstream.
  • Dimensional modeling and schema design judgment
  • Entity resolution, master data, taxonomies, or knowledge graphs
  • React and the Palantir Ontology SDK
  • Palantir Machinery and process mining
  • Jira, including connecting to it with Claude or other AI tools
  • ERP integration experience
  • Streaming and event-driven ingestion (Kafka, CDC)
  • Azure
  • Electronics distribution, supply chain, or industrial B2B data

Benefits

  • Attractive salary package with medical and dental benefits.
  • Modern, open-concept working environment.
  • Collaborative and motivated team culture.
  • Supportive management invested in your success.
  • Smart casual dress code.
  • Conveniently located in Buona Vista MRT station.
