As a Data Scientist, you’ll play a key role in turning data into insight—building machine learning models and analytical solutions that help us make better, more informed decisions across the business. You’ll work across the full data science journey, from exploring and experimenting with rich datasets to deploying robust, scalable solutions into production. Working closely with colleagues across engineering, product and operations, you’ll translate real business questions into practical, impactful insights—bringing curiosity, collaboration and clarity to everything you do.

What you’ll be doing:

- Owning the end-to-end development and deployment of machine learning models and analytical solutions, from data exploration through to production.

- Making day-to-day technical decisions on feature engineering, model selection, analytical techniques and data requirements within agreed team standards.

- Resolving technical challenges during model development and deployment, seeking guidance from the Senior Data Scientist on complex or high-impact decisions.

- Delivering high-quality, reliable outputs that directly influence project success and provide clear, actionable value to stakeholders.

What we’d like you to bring:

- A strong foundation in data science, including machine learning techniques, statistical analysis, feature engineering and model evaluation, with hands-on experience building and deploying models.

- Proficiency in Python, SQL and data manipulation, alongside a solid understanding of data quality, governance and ethical considerations in analytics.

- Experience translating business problems into analytical solutions, with circa two years in data science, machine learning or a related analytical role.

- The ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, exercising ownership and independent judgement on day-to-day modelling while working under the technical guidance of a Senior Data Scientist.

This role is remote-first. You'll be based from home most of the time, with occasional visits to our Hemel Hempstead head office or Haven parks, typically around three days on Park per quarter for team collaboration, workshops and external events.
