About the Role

The Storage & Data Solutions Sales Organization drives HPE's market leadership in enterprise storage, data protection, and modern infrastructure. Our customers rely on us to architect resilient data pipelines, manage massive data growth, and modernize their backup and archival strategies.

As a Data Solutions/Storage Specialist Intern, you will work side-by-side with our experienced sales, presales, and technical solution architects. You will help position HPE's comprehensive storage portfolio, spanning hybrid cloud, data protection, to help our enterprise customers solve complex business and data challenges.

Our internship provides you with an opportunity to gain real-world commercial and technical experience, make an immediate impact, and connect with other interns. Key aspects of our program include professional development, networking events, and mentorship from senior tech sales leaders.

What You’ll Do

· Presales Support & Solution Mapping: Assist technical sales specialists and architects in designing enterprise storage solutions, aligning customer pain points with HPE hardware, software, and tape-based data protection products.

· Customer Presentations & Demos: Help prepare compelling technical presentations, proposals, and solution briefs tailored to client requirements.

· Market & Competitive Analysis: Research market trends, analyze competitor storage offerings (on-premises, cloud, and backup/archival), and support positioning strategies for HPE GreenLake.

· Collaboration: Work cross-functional with internal product, engineering, and sales teams to coordinate customer proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and technical deep-dives.

· Sales Operations & Tracking: Support the sales team with opportunity tracking, pipeline hygiene, and internal tools to streamline deal execution.

What You’ll Need

· Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Technology, Business Administration with a tech focus, or a related field . Eligible for COOP training.

· Technical Interest: A strong interest in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing, data storage, and server/storage hardware concepts.

· Commercial Drive: An enthusiasm for technology sales, customer engagement, and understanding how enterprise technology solves business problems.

· Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (and Arabic is a strong plus), with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and ask smart questions.

· Problem-Solving Mindset: A structured, analytical approach to investigating customer requirements and matching them to technical solutions.
