Team Manager - Real Estate Finance Data Management & Analytics

Role Overview

This role leads the Real Estate Finance Data Management & Analytics team supporting world’s largest alternative investment management company across the US, Europe and APAC, acting as a senior partner to Finance, Technology, Innovations and Transformation teams. The role combines deep financial and operating expertise with leadership, data and transformation capabilities to solve complex challenges across valuations, investment performance, planning and reporting. It will lead a multidisciplinary team of finance and technical specialists, shape priorities and build scalable finance capabilities through data, analytics, automation and frontier AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Wipro Real Estate Finance Real Estate Finance Data Management & Analytics team, setting a high bar for financial judgement, analytical rigour, execution and stakeholder partnership across the global platform.
• Partner with senior client stakeholders to identify and prioritise complex finance and data challenges, challenge existing approaches and translate strategic priorities into a clear transformation agenda.
• Apply deep financial and operating judgement across fund-level finance, valuations, investment performance, FP&A, and management and investor reporting to solve complex problems and ensure solutions address underlying business needs.
• Drive end-to-end finance transformation, redesigning processes and strengthening data, controls, analytics and automation to improve scalability, efficiency and decision-making.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of finance-led and technical specialists, aligning capabilities to priorities, establishing clear accountability and maintaining consistently high standards of delivery.
• Shape applications of industry-leading AI tools and frontier models across Real Estate Finance, identifying high-value opportunities and ensuring rigorous financial validation, controls and governance.
• Build trusted relationships across client’s Finance, Technology, Innovations and Transformation and Wipro leadership, acting as a key bridge between financial priorities, data capabilities and technology delivery.

Experience & Capabilities

• 7-9 years of relevant experience, with a track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering complex finance, data or transformation initiatives in sophisticated financial environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Tier-1 college or university in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative discipline; CA, CPA, CFA or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Deep finance and business acumen developed within investment banking, asset management, private markets, alternatives, fintech or another complex, data-intensive financial environment.
•Strong financial-statement knowledge and substantive experience in fund finance, including capital activity, liquidity, net income, fees and expenses, valuations, mark-to-market analysis and NAV. Experience in real estate equity or debt, including leverage, loan operations, hedging and currency exposure, is an advantage.
•Experience across investment performance and forecasting, including IRR, time-weighted returns, money multiples, attribution and benchmarking, and FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and driver-based modelling, is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience leading finance transformation and process redesign, connecting business priorities with data, technology, analytics and automation to deliver scalable improvements.
•Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with demonstrated credibility engaging senior leaders, constructively challenging existing approaches and navigating complex cross-functional priorities.
•Experience applying industry-leading AI tools and frontier models to financial analytics, process transformation or workflow automation is an advantage, with the judgement to identify high-value use cases and ensure appropriate validation, controls and governance.
•Strong understanding of modern data capabilities, including data structures, governance, lineage, controls and trusted datasets, with the ability to challenge technical solutions and connect them to financial and business outcomes.
•Proven leadership and delivery skills, including team development, prioritisation, resource planning, dependency management and resolution of complex delivery issues; project management or business analysis certifications such as CBAP, PMP, PRINCE2 or Scrum are advantageous.
