As the Director, Creative Operations you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of creative team resources, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the stakeholders’ satisfaction. Your role will require extensive account management within all other departments across StockX, acting as a gatekeeper for prospective creative projects. You will work closely with the creative leadership, the Integrated Marketing team, and other marketing partners on creating briefs, managing timelines, and allocating resources. You will also be responsible for managing the team’s budget, vendor relationships, invoicing, and billing.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience managing a creative team at an agency or an an in-house environment. They will have a strong understanding of the creative process, as well as project management methodologies. The Director of Creative Operations must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What you'll do

  • Manage people and budget resources on all creative projects 
  • Manage all inbound requests and assign projects to teams accordingly 
  • Oversee vendor relationships while constantly looking for cost savings opportunities
  • Manage annual/quarterly/monthly timelines in partnership with Integrated Marketing
  • Facilitate timely rounds of stakeholder feedback 
  • Identify and implement workflow efficiencies and process improvements
  • Build and maintain an ideal asset management system 
  • Serve as a liaison between the creative team and other departments 
  • Handle conflict resolution between team members and/or other departments

About you

  • 7-10 years of experience managing creative team resources, ideally in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and overall quality of output
  • Detailed examples of implementing process improvements within a creative team environment.
  • Detailed examples of implementing process improvements within a creative team environment.
  • Experience with enterprise level asset management systems 
  • Come from a place of ‘yes’ but know when to say ‘no’
  • Collaborative, resourceful, and detail oriented

Nice to have skills

  • Familiarity with Asana, Dropbox, and other project/asset management tools
  • Understanding of current culture and fashion is helpful but not essential

Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts, the base salary range is $120,000 to $150,000 plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.
