In this role, you will lead Gong’s high-performance Content team, driving the strategy, planning, and execution of integrated, multi-channel content programs that educate and inspire our audiences. 

You are a senior leader with deep experience and a successful track record scaling B2B SaaS content programs that drive pipeline. You have a passion for developing full-funnel content strategies across multiple channels, including social media, events, websites, paid media, webinars, among others. You value measurement and experimentation and are comfortable challenging conventional wisdom to develop stellar programs that deliver value to target personas, and meet them where they are in the buyer’s journey. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Communications, this position requires a highly collaborative leader who excels in cross-functional environments and has a Win As a Team mindset.  


  • Accelerate the growth of Gong’s content programs to drive brand and product awareness and engagement through each stage of the funnel (awareness, consideration, decision). 
  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of content programs that support Gong’s mission, platform narrative, integrated campaigns, new product launches, thought leadership, among other initiatives.
  • Develop effective full-funnel content strategies for target personas. Increase quality pipeline. 
  • Lead the team responsible for developing and executing Gong’s content programs across all stages of the funnel. Areas and channels include content marketing, social media, webinars, blog and podcasts, thought leadership, among others. 
  • Serve as a coach and mentor for the Content team, promoting their development through growth opportunities and continual learning. 
  • Partner closely with GTM functions to align narratives and amplify the effectiveness of integrated campaigns. 
  • Collaborate with senior executives on thought leadership programs. 
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of content initiatives on awareness, engagement, and new customer acquisition. Continually adjust content strategy to optimize performance. 
  • You are located in the San Francisco, Chicago, or Atlanta area
  • 12+ years of experience leading and scaling successful content programs. Preferably 8+ years in the B2B SaaS space. 
  • This role requires a broad set of strategy, program development, and execution skills. The ideal candidate will be equally passionate about creating campaigns and executing them. 
  • Gong’s key audiences include sales leaders and reps, from SMBs to large enterprises. This role requires either direct sales experience (previously held a sales role) or considerable experience marketing to sales and go-to-market teams. 
  • Creative thinker with a proven ability to turn ideas into actionable content programs – across all content mediums – that drive brand and product awareness and engagement. 
  • Proven success growing social media platforms for B2B SaaS enterprises.
  • Passionate about data and analyzing program results for future optimization
  • Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills, and a passion for storytelling.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and creating thought leadership programs.
  • Significant experience leading high-performing teams. Strong aptitude for coaching and mentoring.
