WHAT: 40 Hour, Personal Care Aide Training Program
WHERE: 3083 Akahi Street, Ste 101, Lihue, HI 96766
WHEN: Monthly - From 12:30 pm-4:30 pm
COST: PAID TRAINING!
Things you will learn during the PCA Training Program:
- Activities of daily living
- Light housekeeping
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Nail care
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Oral feeding
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation

After completing the training program, we have current job openings for PCA's– Personal Care Aides in the following locations:

- Kalaheo

Qualifications for PCA– Personal Care Aide:
- Minimum one year work experience
- Two Step TB Test
- Pass State Background Test
