About the Role:
As a Mobile Dispatcher, you will assist the Logistics team with daily duties and responsibilities.
- Support any efforts to mitigate the impact to our customer experience and on time delivery.
- Operate and manage dispatch software to assign and re-assign routes.
- Assign delivery routes and maintain contact with Logistics Leads throughout the day.
- Abide by New York City Department of Transportation safety regulations for drivers.
- Meet company operating policies and standards, including providing best in class customer service.
- Collaborate with management to modify routes and zones to achieve target efficiency.
- Respond to issues and follow up by coordinating with the appropriate team members.
- Daily review of on-time delivery and performance by zone.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Communicate with leads and couriers to resolve problems within delivery zones.
- In-depth knowledge of Capsule product and logistics procedures.
- Continuously assess current practices and strive to improve delivery processes through real time experience and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements:
- You must have a valid driver's license
- You have a high school diploma / GED.
- You are able and willing to stand for long periods of time (at least 8 hours per shift).
- You have great self-discipline, attendance, and punctuality.
- You possess strong attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, ability to excel in a team environment.
- You must be available to work Friday through Monday and weekend availability is a must.
- You have prior experience in a dispatch courier role.
- You must be able to complete and pass a Background Check and Drug Screen prior to employment.
Pay Rate:
$18/hr
