Data Science Internship Job Description:
The Customer Experience team is looking for a confident, creative and enthusiastic intern to join our Customer Care (CC). The Data Science Intern will support the vision of using predictive modeling for solving business problems for the Customer Care Team. This internship will foster an opportunity to gain exposure on how to deliver a stable full stack data science solution, from data pipelining & acquisition to insight generation and predictive analytics . This is a virtual, paid, full-time summer internship (M-F 9am-5:30pm EST) from June - August 2022.
You will...
- Develop and maintain statistical and machine learning models in order to support team’s goal of optimization through automation
- Build scalable data pipelines to onboard data from multiple sources
- Learn and discover new ways of leveraging data to enhance customer experience alongside solving existing business problems at customer care
- Formulate hypotheses through discussion with different stakeholders, use statistical knowledge to prove/disprove them
- Leverage our data platform to provide data-driven insights to internal teams
- Support Agile methodologies, balance business requirements with technical feasibility and set expectations on new projects

You have...
- Junior - Senior in a University or College with a concentration in a STEM focused degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficient in Statistical Analysis, Python & SQL. Scala/Java experience is a plus.
- Prior internship experience is a plus!
- This position's essential functions demand the performance of the following physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation:
